This page is where you exercise your privacy rights over the personal information Albino-monkey.com holds about you. It applies whichever U.S. state you live in.
Do we sell your personal information?
No. Albino-monkey.com does not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do not exchange it for money with anyone.
However, like most websites, we use advertising and analytics cookies (for example Google Analytics and Google Ads) that pass limited information about your visit to those companies. Under California, Colorado, Connecticut and several other state privacy laws, that counts as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising, and you have the right to opt out of it.
How to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising
- Use the cookie banner. Decline non-essential cookies when the banner appears, or reopen it from the privacy link at the bottom of any page and change your choice. This is the fastest route and it applies to this browser immediately.
- Send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We honour GPC. If your browser or extension sends the signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for that browser without you having to do anything else.
- Ask us directly. Email contact@albino-monkey.com with the subject line “Opt out of sharing”.
Your other rights
Depending on where you live, you can also ask us to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you, where we got it, and who we disclosed it to
- Get a copy of that information in a portable format
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, subject to records we must keep by law (for example tax and order records)
- Limit our use of sensitive personal information
We will never discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. You will get the same prices, the same products and the same service.
How to make a request
Email contact@albino-monkey.com from the address you used with us, or write to us at the postal address below, and tell us which right you want to use. We may need to ask a question or two to confirm it is really you before we act, and we will only use what you send us for that purpose.
We respond within 45 days. If a request is complex we may take up to 45 more days and we will tell you why before that happens. There is no charge.
Authorised agents
You may use an authorised agent to make a request for you. We will ask for written permission signed by you, and we may still contact you directly to confirm.
Appeals
If we turn a request down and you live in a state that gives you a right of appeal (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana and others), reply to our decision within 60 days with the word “Appeal” and a different person will review it. We will give you a written answer within 45 days. If we still say no, you may complain to your state Attorney General.
