This page sets out, in plain language, how Albino-monkey.com makes money, what our links do, and how we handle reviews and claims. We would rather over-explain than have you guess.
How this site is funded
Albino-monkey.com designs and sells kitchen products. The recipes, guides and articles on this site are free and always will be. They are paid for by the sale of our own products.
Profit from those sales funds our fundraising work: the ongoing care of Freeman, a rescued monkey who spent ten years in a crate before being rescued in 2012 and rehomed with us in 2024, and our environmental work on reducing single-use plastic in the kitchen. Buying a product is the most direct way to support that work. You can read Freeman's story on the Albino Monkey Fundraising page.
Links to Amazon
Many product links on this site go to Amazon. To be completely clear about what those links are and are not:
- They point to our own products, sold by us as the brand owner on Amazon.
- They are not affiliate links. We are not paid a commission for sending you to someone else's product, and we do not participate in the Amazon Associates programme on this site.
- They carry an Amazon Attribution tag. That is a measurement tool that tells us which of our own pages led to a sale of our own product. It does not change the price you pay, and it does not add anything to your order.
- You pay Amazon's listed price. Amazon handles payment, shipping, delivery and returns for those orders under Amazon's own terms.
Reviews and ratings
Star ratings and review counts shown on this site are taken from public Amazon customer reviews of our products, and are accurate at the time we published the page. Ratings move, so the live figure on Amazon is the authoritative one.
We do not write reviews, buy reviews, incentivise reviews, or ask anyone to remove a negative one. We do not suppress unfavourable reviews. Every rating you see is from a real customer who bought the product.
Product claims and recipes
Recipes and cooking guides on this site are provided for general information. We test what we publish, but results in your kitchen depend on your ingredients, equipment and technique. Nothing here is nutritional, medical or dietary advice. If you have allergies or a medical condition, check ingredients yourself and speak to a qualified professional.
